It is often observed that, despite knowing what is necessary for our own protection, we tend to overlook the simplest safety measures. Reflectors, though small and easily available, play an immensely crucial role in ensuring the safety of cyclists on the road. However, they are frequently ignored, leaving individuals vulnerable and unknowingly placing their lives at risk. Keeping this in mind, we, the students of Faculty Higher Secondary School in association with American Field Services ( AFS) undertook a small and meaningful initiative. A team of nine students, guided by two teacher coordinators, visited IIT Guwahati to spread awareness about road safety. Through this campaign, we reached out to people directly, helping them understand the significance of visibility while cycling, especially during low-light conditions. As part of our effort, we installed reflectors on the bicycles of five pedestrians, taking a simple but impactful step toward enhancing their safety. Though modest and trivial in scale, the campaign was carried out with sincerity, leaving us with the hope that even the smallest actions can contribute to a safer and more responsible community
