On 2nd of January 2009 the school celebrated its 28th Foundation Day . The event was started off with the lighting of 'Diya' by some of the senior most teachers who were present on the very first Foundation Day on 2nd January 1982.

‘Nyepi', this was what our school team of twenty students was named at the Odyssey, an annually held interschool cultural fest in Sanskriti- the Gurukul. Our school team comprising of ten boys and equal number of girls entered the Sanskriti premises on the 4 th of November.'

The Teacher's day of Faculty Higher Secondary School was celebrated in the school's open air stage complex . The weather was overcast but the raingod did not disappoint the children . The whole programme was very nicely managed by the students of the School Council.
