Celebration of Rabindra Jayanti on 9th May 2011(Middle Section)

The middle section celebrated the 150th birth anniversary of Guruda Rabindranath Tagore. This was celebrated right after the usual morning assembly with the lighting of the lamp and offering of flowers by the teachers followed by a brief speech throwing light on the life and works of the great literary legend by chandrima Sarma of class VII-A. Archit Sarma of the same class recited the poem ‘Where the mind is without fear’ and Shwango Jilak of class VI-A rendered her voice for a Rabindra Sangeet.The short celebration ended with another Rabindra Sangeet sang by our teacher –Ms.Anindita Choudhury,Mrs.Deepshikha S.Borua and Mrs Bijoya Dey.
