Faculty Higher Secondary School has undertaken a plantation project in Sila Pahar Forest area on National Highway in 10 HA of land as per forest Dept's "Seuj Prokolpo" scheme and planted about 15000 teak trees in the area in april may 2004 .The area was also protected with the help of poor village youth all through .The protection provided enable natural visitations to grow as well and over hundred varieties of natural trees and sharps have started growing in the area .
